Frequently Asked Questions
With our four season subscription service, we design and deliver four beautiful and biodegradable drop-ins for your planter. Each season, simply pull out and dispose of last season’s compostable drop-in and replace it with the new drop-in delivered to your front door!
For your first season with the subscription, you can add a new planter to your order, and we'll deliver it to your front door with the drop-in placed inside the planter. For the subsequent seasons, we will deliver the drop-ins and place them by your front door.
This is a great option if you need a gift, want to spruce up your look before guests come, or you are putting your home on the market. Maybe you want to try us out before committing to a four season subscription. If buying as a gift, please add the recipient’s address (and gate code, if applicable) in the "delivery instructions" field. We will include a gift enclosure with a one sentence message and recipient’s name if you would like to include that information in the "delivery instructions" field. Please note: If you need a planter to put your one-time drop-in in, you'll need to add one to your order.
If you already have a planter that you would like to use, you will need to measure it to determine which drop-in will best fit your planter. We have four different sizes of drop-ins available. Click here for instructions on how to measure your planter and see our drop-in size options.

Plant care instructions:
Here are our recommendations for you to keep your plants and flowers happy and flourishing all season long:
Water: Regular and thorough watering is the key to your success. Make sure the water gets to all the plants in the pot, from the edges to the center. Even when we receive rain, please check your containers to see that they received proper hydration. Rainwater is usually never enough to make a difference. Wind dries out the planters; if it is particularly windy, please water more frequently. Morning water is ideal, but watering in general is key. Plants in the shade do not dry out as quickly and require less watering.
The frequency of watering depends on daily temperatures:
80 degrees and above temperatures – water daily
70 degrees – water every other day
60 degrees – water every third day
Prune your plants: Deadheading the pansies will encourage new flowers, and it looks so much better! If you see a pansy flower that is withered, simply snip off the entire stem. Your cabbage and kale leaves will begin to yellow and get crispy at the very bottom of the cabbages as they age. Not to worry, this is normal! You can tear off the entire cabbage leaf if you notice this happening.
Be aware if you notice any white moths flying around your planters! These moths will turn into caterpillars and chew holes in the kale/cabbage in your pots. If you see white moths, caterpillars or holes in your kale/cabbage we suggest spraying with BT Spray on a weekly basis. Here is link from our Amazon shop for BT Spray.
Cover your plants before a freeze: Please water the flowerpot well and be prepared to cover it with a bedsheet, towel or other breathable fabric if the temperatures drop below 40 degrees. A reusable frost bag, which is available in a variety of sizes, is a good investment because it could be used again and again for multiple seasons. You can find frost cloth bags on Amazon using this link: Plant Frost Bag.
Our goal is to keep your flowerpots looking amazing and bringing you joy all season long so please reach out to us if you have any questions.
We provide top quality plants and detailed care instructions for your flowerpot drop-ins. It is your responsibility to water and care for the plants according to our instructions. If you notice that a specific plant is not thriving in your arrangement, please let us know within 48 hours of delivery.
We thoughtfully select the plants and create the designs in advance so we are unable to fulfill specific flower requests.
